Nepal Earthquake: Hundreds die

On 25 April 2015, an earthquake struck Nepal, leaving. The earthquake was felt across the region. The government has declared a state of emergency in the affected areas. An official told the news reporters that 970 people had died in the earthquake and that more than 1,700 had been injured.

Houses fell, people died (although most survived). It makes their houses shake and people shake. Rocks fell were falling from the skies, hitting people on impact. Many got buried in the big masses of rubble. The Disaster Response Team was helping people get out of the rubble. The earthquake also destroyed historic monuments. 80% of all the temples were damaged.

There is a large amount of damage. Damage to places that have been throughout history, for example, temples and there may also be damage to the neighbourhood, like houses. Repairs delayed due to roads blocked by the rocks. The Disaster Response Team will go and rescue the civilians buried under the rocks. The damage will repair with the funding of multiple countries, such as the US.

Now, the citizens of Nepal are devastated because of the amount of damage caused to to households. Will they recover from this? Some people wonder what is next for the people of Nepal.
